A Message from Executive Director Camille Maben

The Summit will take place in Southern California, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to spend three educationally rewarding (and fun!) days at the beautiful recently renovated Hilton Los Angeles/NorthGlendale.

First 5 California’s 2018 Summit theme, “California – Leading the Way for Children,” represents the natural evolution of this statewide event – from building partnerships and promoting collective impact, to providing leadership around critical programs and investments designed to benefit young children. The Summit provides the perfect forum for the spectrum of early childhood stakeholders to learn from, collaborate with, and empower one another.

The event will feature dynamic, inspirational keynotes, innovative and informative workshops, and plenty of time for networking with family advocates, health professionals, program directors, philanthropists, and many others who share interests and commitment to improving the lives of California’s children and families, and to support our vision that "California's children receive the best possible start in life and thrive."

We hope you will use this unique opportunity to participate in the Summit and engage with hundreds of peers, colleagues, and representatives from health, education, business, advocacy, non-profits, and government who are dedicated to children and families across California.

We appreciate your support, and thank you in advance for joining us!

Camille Maben, Executive Director
